The years pass, and the Big Bull feminized marijuana seed continues to be one of the most prominent in the Indica-dominant-with-therapeutic-properties marijuana plants sector. This is why it is still in our catalogue, and will remain available for a long time.

Its success speaks for itself: it won second place at the Seed Company Indica Cup at Toronto’s Treating Yourself Expo in 2012. Nine years later, in 2021, it was crowned as the Best Outdoor Flower at the Homegrowers King’s Cup in Colombia. It remains a winner! In our seed bank it is known as ‘the Kannabia Special seed.’

Its genetics make for a winning combination. It is a good Skunk strain, with personality, along with the added goodness of the gigantic Early Pearl – hence its great outdoor capacity. This cocktail of Swiss origin is a cross between a Black Domina, from our most select storeroom, and acquired the super Indica personality that we were looking for, resistant to everything. It is one of the most flexible plants and with the most versatile, adaptive behavior available from Kannabia Seeds Company.

How to: Big Bull

You can benefit from this seed no matter where you are. It is easy to germinate, in just over a day, and it flowers very fast, either outdoors or indoors. You can (almost) do whatever you want with Big Bull, as it will strive to grow and give you high-quality buds. It resists pests and diseases, all kinds of pruning and cultivation techniques, and even super cropping.

You’ll have to be careful when growing it indoors. The Early Pearl that runs through its veins strives to make a place for itself, so you better stop its dizzying ascent. After 3 weeks of germination and growth, when it measures 30 cm, it is advisable to let it bloom, because it will still be only 1/3 of its eventual height. With 7 or 8 more flowering weeks (better 8 than 7) you’ll have a plant with short internodal distances, a sweet and discreet scent, and buds weighing 400 g per square meter.

Outdoors, things get even better: in the 2nd week of September a Big Bull plant will stand two meters tall and will be ready to yield 450 g per plant. Make sure it’s getting enough sunlight, that’s all.

Big Bull: taste and effect

It’s an ideal marijuana plant for lovers of classic seeds, with an aroma of grass and flowers and an almost strawberry sweet punch on the palate. Its aftertaste is of coffee, and slightly acidic.

The high provoked by Big Bull, our favorite Swiss bull, is unstoppable, but slow and safe. It features 16% THC, has an almost completely indica personality, and its therapeutic specialties are anxiety and sleep disorders, as well as joint inflammation and pain.
